CRB Partners with Ohio 5-SURE for CBC Capstone Event

The Center for RNA Biology partnered with the Ohio 5-SURE Program for CBC’s Capstone event last Friday, bringing together students, mentors, and faculty for a day of research presentations and collaboration.
The Ohio 5-SURE Program, co-sponsored by The Ohio State University and the Five Colleges of Ohio, is a 10-week summer research internships for students from Wooster, Denison, Kenyon, Oberlin, and Ohio Wesleyan.
CRB Summer Fellows participated by presenting their research posters and attending scientific talks. This year’s fellows included:
- Michael Muccio (Musier-Forsyth Lab) – Schoenberg Fellow
- Erica Popa (Gopalan Lab)
- Dilshodbek Nishonov (Tu Lab)
- Mara Reynolds (Jackman Lab)
- Jacob Schwartz (Nakanishi Lab)
- Nikhil Weaver (Miles Lab)
The event served as a capstone to the fellows’ summer research, showcasing the skills, discoveries, and collaborations they developed throughout the program and marking an exciting step forward in their scientific journeys.
