Sharon Amacher, professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics, was recently elected to the Society of Developmental Biology Academy.  "As developmental biology continues to gain prominence in the field of biomedical sciences, it becomes increasingly vital to educate the public and provide expert opinions on various controversial issues," said SDB president Ken Cho. "(Amacher's) continued support in promoting developmental biology within our society is invaluable, and we eagerly look forward to her future contributions."
