Zhu lab is interested in understanding the epigenetic (DNA and histone methylation) and epitranscriptional (RNA methylation) aspects in viral infections and antiviral immune responses, including HIV, herpesviruses (EBV, KSHV, HSV-1), and emerging viruses (SARS-CoV-2, ZIKV).
