Three Center for RNA Biology Students Win the 2023 Presidential Fellowship!
We are excited to announce that three Center for RNA Biology students have won the 2023 Presidential Fellowship! (https://gradsch.osu.edu/news/2023/11/17/2023-24-presidential-fellowship-recipients). The Presidential Fellowship is the most prestigious award given by the graduate school. This year, only 35 Presidential Fellowships were awarded across the entire campus, so it is a highly selective award given to only the most outstanding students. Please join us in congratulating:
Benjamin Pastore, advised by Dr. Wen Tang, for his proposal entitled “Determination of the Mechanisms Governing piRNA Degradation”
Ian Price, advised by Dr. Wen Tang, for his proposal entitled “Determining the Mechanisms Governing Germ Granule Assembly”
Anthony Rish, advised by Dr. Tianmin Fu, for his proposal entitled “Assembly and Function of ATPases”
These awards reflect the outstanding mentorship these students are receiving from their advisors and committee members, and the outstanding work the Center for RNA Biology students are doing!
